There are so many places surrounding Boskenwyn Manor that your taste buds will crave. If its a meal out then you are in no short fall for quality restaurants and Cornish dishes. Helston, Porthleven and Falmouth are home to scores of ever popular, quality restaurants with no shortage of choice.

A more local, Cornish pub experience try the fast array of places in our area including The Black Swan Inn, The Ship Inn, The Mounts Bay Inn, The Prince of Wales, The Halzephorn Inn and The Paris Hotel is just a handful of places to try.

Or if its a quiet takeaway to enjoy at our site then try whats to offer in Helston and Gweek ranging from Fish and Chips, Indian Cuisine, Chinese Dishes, Italian and burgers.

 
 

Land and sea

The land that our home admires is full of magical views and woodland environments. Why not walk part of the coastal path while your here and see the sea from a cliff top perspective. These walks will take you to natural beauty areas of Loe Bar, Church Cove, Mullion Cove Harbour and views of Mullion Island. Travel far enough you will reach The Lizard Point, famous for being the most southerly location in The United Kingdom.

If its a countryside trail you fancy, explore the huge range of footpaths and bridleways in our area; some of which travel right through our farm. This will allow you to get up close to rural Cornwall and see the sites of the country with the rural buildings and farms to admire as you continue of your trails. why not try Goldophin Woods, Penrose or Helford Trails for more woodland scenery as well.

Flambards Theme Park is a fun day out for all ages. Whether it is the theme park rides or the famous Victorian Village, there really is something there for everyone.

Closer still, in the rural, local village of Gweek is the National Seal Santaury which carry out specialized marine rescue and rehabilitation for many sea creatures as well as providing a home for some too. From seals, penguins, otters and more, there is plenty to see and do while your there.

Popular nearby areas include the closest town of Helston (2.6 miles), Porthleven ( 5 miles), Falmouth (12.3 miles), The Lizard (12.2 miles) and Coverack (10.7 miles) just to name a few.

Postcard picture villages surround the site including Constantine, Mawnan Smith, Mullion, St.Keverne, Cadgwith, Gunwalloe and Helford just to name a few.

Take the time to explore the wonderful Helford River from start to finish along its trail to its mouth on the Cornish coastline.

If its the sand and sea that teases you there is plenty of Cornish beaches to explore. Dip your toes in the seas of Poldhu, Kennack Sands, Porthleven, Gunwalloe’s Church Cove, Kynance, Polurrian and Praa Sands if the fix of the Cornish sea air is what you are after.

The site is also within a close range of many popular, local, annual events that you may be down to see. These include Helston Flora Day, Porthleven Food Festival, Helstonbury, Falmouth Tall Ships, Falmouth Shanty Festival, Falmouth Week and many more.
